CR80 new design card machine printer cleaning cards

Although your serial card printer requires little maintenance, in order to achieve the best printing effect, it is recommended that you follow the following procedures for regular maintenance.

A Required materials
1. Isopropyl alcohol
2. Acetone
3. Standard transparent tape or masking tape
4. Lint free soft cloth

A. Print head cleaning pen: soaked in 99.99% isopropyl alcohol in advance to clean the print head.
B. Cleaning card: used to clean the transfer wheel and cleaning wheel.
C. Cleaning package: It is soaked in 99.99% isopropyl alcohol in advance to clean the printer.

Important warning:
1. Never use sharp tools or objects that may cause wear to clean the print head, otherwise the print head will be damaged. Do not use the cleaning bag to clean the rubber wheel.
2. Watches, rings, bracelets and other jewelry may accidentally collide and damage the print head. It is best to remove these objects before touching the internal components of the printer.
3. Like other electronic devices, the internal components of the printer will be damaged by static electricity. In order to avoid potential hazards, it is better to wear some grounding device when touching the internal components of the printer, or touch the metal base of the printer with your hand before touching.

B. Standard print head cleaning procedure:

When blank lines appear on the printed card, the print head should be cleaned according to this procedure. The print head should also be cleaned according to the procedure when replacing a roll of ribbon or when printing 250 cards.

1. Press the cover release key to open the printer top cover.

2. If dust or other particles are found on the surface of the ribbon, manually roll the ribbon onto the front wheel of the ribbon drive. Sometimes, dust will accumulate on the surface of the ribbon, causing printing problems.

3. Use the print head cleaning pen or a lint free soft cloth dipped with a little isopropyl alcohol. Do not soak too much sprinkling, or sprinkling may drip into the printing interior, which is absolutely not allowed.

4. When the print head is completely dry, close the top cover of the printer. After that, if there are still blank lines on the printed card. Follow the cleaning procedure in C.

C. Deep Print Head Cleaning Program
When the blank lines of the card cannot be eliminated after the print head is cleaned using the standard cleaning procedure in B, this procedure should be used for deep cleaning of the print head. If you want to maintain high-quality printing. This deep cleaning of the print head should also be performed every 250 cards printed.

1. Press the cover release key to open the printer top cover.
2. Use a lint free soft cloth soaked with a little acetone to wipe the print head surface. Also be careful not to use too much acetone to prevent it from dripping into the printer.
