Cleanroom Wipes are subject to rigorous testing to meet performance requirements and contamination control standards, generally cleanroom wipes are subject to the following tests:
(1)IC test
Measurement of inorganic anion and cation content according to specific units.
According to the regulations, the quantitative analysis is determined to accurately measure the inorganic anion and cation composition.
Referring to the test specification, in the tape machine manufacturing industry, it is generally stipulated that CL-≤0.03ug/c㎡; SO42-≤0.03ug/c㎡; NO3-≤0.03ugc㎡; Total:<1.0ug/c㎡
(2)NVR test
Non-volatile residues tested per unit area.
The NVR test is performed by soaking a dust-free cloth in a certain amount of organic solvent for a certain amount of time, then removing the cloth and testing the quality of the non-volatile residue in the dissolved organic solvent.
Referring to the test specification: In the tape machine manufacturing industry, the general rule is <3.0ug/c㎡.
(3) LPC test
Test for the number of liquid fine particles per unit area.
According to IEST-RP-CC004.3 Section VI.2.1, the LPC test is carried out on the dust-free cloth and the number of liquid fine particles on the dust-free cloth.
Referring to the test specification: in the tape machine manufacturing industry, the general rule is <30 counts/c㎡.
(4) FTIR test
Test the composition of dust-free cloths, mainly to identify silicone oils, amino digests, plasticizers, etc.
Reference test specification: generally no methyl silicone oil, hydroxy chemicals, or tackifiers are allowed.
(5) GC testing
Testing for the type and content of organic pollutants on dust-free cloths.
GC testing is a way of profiling the type and composition of organic chemical air pollutants on dust-free cloths .
Referring to the test specification: In the tape machine manufacturing industry, a Total:<10ug is specified.
F707 Foam Swab is an excellent swab for cleaning surfaces. The head material construction, which is completely thermally bonded makes it adhesive-free.
Since this swab is processed in cleanroom, it is generally cleaner having low levels of contamination (Ionics and NVR).
